Rampalnagas Primary School, Trinidad and Tobago |
As Principal Niana Al shared in our previous newsletter (click HERE to watch the video), the COVID-19 pandemic has taken an extreme toll on the school systems across the world and students have been forced to adapt to online learning. However, many children from impoverished backgrounds and poor communities that we support continue to struggle with accessing these simple tools and technology, negatively impacting their education. Rampalnagas school is no exception. We need your help to furnish the school with enough tablets to ensure each child can access quality education. We also ask for your help to rebuild the school library which also serves as a community centre. Donate |
Aya Afrika Project, Ghana Our ongoing commitment and mission in Ghana is to support the children from underprivileged backgrounds who cannot afford tuition, schools supplies, and even food to eat. Students are forced to share 1 laptop among 3 or more children. Our goal is to help furnish the school with enough tablets or desktop computers. We also plan to create an evolving emergency fund at the school to assist students with feminine hygiene products, food, and medical emergencies. These obstacles do not just lead to poor quality of education, but also greatly contribute to high dropout rates in rural schools in Africa, perpetuating the cycle of poverty. We ask that you please continue to give generously to this cause.
